CBS Corporation stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and trades under the symbols "CBS.A" for Class A common stock and "CBS" for Class B common stock. Class A common stock is voting stock, and Class B common stock is non-voting stock.

What is the difference between CBS.A and CBS?
CBS Corporation has two classes of common stock: Class A, which is the voting stock, and Class B, which is the non-voting stock. There is no difference between the two classes except for voting rights. Shares of CBS Class A and Class B common stock generally trade within a close price range of each other. There are, however, more shares of Class B common stock outstanding, and most of the trading occurs in that class.

When are 1099 forms issued? How do I get a duplicate?
1099s are mailed each year by our Transfer Agent or your broker. Wells Fargo Shareowner Services will mail out 1099 tax forms for the 2010 tax year as well as future tax years. If you require a duplicate 1099 tax form for the 2009 tax year and prior, please contact Bank of New York Mellon at 1800-524-4458.

Can I convert one class of CBS Corporation common stock into the other?
You can convert CBS Corporation Class A common stock shares into Class B common stock shares on a one-for-one basis in accordance with CBS Corporation’s charter, but you cannot convert CBS Corporation Class B common stock into Class A common stock. Why is Class A (voting) common stock so thinly traded?
National Amusements, Inc. beneficially owns a majority of the Class A common stock. Sumner M. Redstone, the controlling stockholder of National Amusements, Inc. is CBS Corporation's Chairman. There are also significantly fewer outstanding shares of Class A stock than of Class B.

I am still holding certificates for the former Viacom Inc. What do I do with them?
You must exchange your certificated shares for book-entry shares of CBS Corporation and Viacom Inc. Shareholders of record of former Viacom Inc. on December 31, 2005, should have received a letter of transmittal regarding the exchange of certificated shares. Completed letters of transmittal, together with any required documents including physical certificates, must be returned to the processing agent, who will then issue the shareholder a book-entry credit for the whole shares of CBS and New Viacom Inc. I exchanged my shares of the former Viacom Inc. and received a statement confirming my shares of New Viacom Inc. and CBS Corporation in book-entry form. Can I have a stock certificate issued instead?
Physical certificates are not available. Shares of each company are issued electronically (in book-entry form) by way of the Direct Registration System or “DRS.” DRS eliminates the physical handling and safekeeping responsibilities inherent in possessing stock certificates and the need to return a duly executed stock certificate to effect a transfer.
